and so the countdown begins. . .

ok, so i'm finally in the home stretch. only 6 more days workin in hell-mart, which is a tad bittersweet. all my ladies there are awesome, and i really will miss them a ton. . . so here's a small list of things i'll DEFINITELY miss:
hearing regina calling me "pickles" every day
seeing kristie's weird faces
teasing sandy and judy with the fake mouse
hearing teresa yell at me bc i have a countdown til i leave
seeing boo and nicole with the carebear in the accounting cart
having Ma and Lola blindside me with compliments just when i need them
seeing Larry carry a purse
Kristeen's lectures on the benefits of papaya and potato
Liz's futile attempts to convert the entire store into Hanson groupies
Dee's shock and astonishment at the lyrics of Tenacious D and Stephen Lynch
Seeing Phyllis' cheerful smile every day

Above all though i'm going to really miss Ann's remarkable words of wisdom "Study hard and keep your legs shut" mixed with "Brat, go buy me a bottle of water." "Thanks baby!" She is the cause of my identity crisis. . . but i love her anyway!!

but they'll all still be there when i come back for xmas break. . . except kristie. management screwed her over, so she's leaving the same day i am. fortunately i wont have to be there when all hell breaks loose since they wont have enough CSMs.

So i'm really looking forward to going back up to ou and decorating with sabrina. its going to be great. i'm already half packed. the only thing getting me down is evan not talking to me. it just really bugs me. dont worry, i'm not dwelling on it, its just this nagging thought that pops up in the back of my head from time to time. i dont know. hopefully things will figure themselves out when we get back.

ooh, and one last thing. for ANYONE that reads this- i am not going to do a DAMN thing on my bday. i am going to sit on my ass and bask in the gloriousness that is an empty house since my rents will be at school, as will amy. then they have volleyball after that. so i get to have PEACE AND QUIET all day. how much better of a bday present could i possibly get!?!?
